YARD: THE PRIVATE LANDSCAPE
Thursday - Sunday, 1:00-5:00pm or by appointment

Group exhibition of work by nine photographers exploring back yards, private spaces, and nature. Curated by noted landscape photographer Karen Halverson and includes work by Virginia Beahan, David Brickman, David Deutsch, Doug Dubois, Lindsey Glover, Buzz Hartshorn, Jeff Jacobson, Mona Mark, and Sheron Rupp. Read more

oga and movement class appropriate for students at all levels Taught by Geoff Gloak, a certified Kripalu Yoga instructor.

Showcase of the Academy's arts-in-education partnership with the Chatham Central School District featuring an exhibition of visual art, dance, writing, and drama created by students in grade three. Read more about the Academy's Arts-in-Education program.

 
Wednesday, November 21
SHAPE- NOTE SING
7:00-9:30PM - Free
Monthly community sings focused on the American tradition of shape-note singing, a joyful, spirited, and democratic singing tradition. No auditions or performances, just singing for the pure joy of it. Listeners, beginners, and people of all ages are welcome. Meets third Wednesday of each month.

FAMILY DRUM CIRCLE
6:00PM - Free

The drop-in Drum Circle meets the forth Friday of each month and is free of charge. No experience necessary. Participants of all ages are encouraged to bring  percussion instruments, including hand drums, bells, shakers, and homemade instruments; some drums will be provided. Facilitated by Steve Collins.
