Yoga and Mindful Movement
6:30PM  - Free
A new weekly yoga and movement class appropriate for students at all levels Taught by Geoff Gloak, a certified Kripalu Yoga instructor who has been practicing yoga for two decades and brings a contagious enthusiasm to his practice and classes.

Please bring a yoga/exercise mat and a pillow or cushion, if desired. The introductory class is free. Weekly classes each Tuesday are $10, payable to the instructor. For more information, contact Geoff at gloak@hotmail.com or 518-852-0808.

ALMS TRIO: JAZZ CONCERT
2:30pm - $5 / kids free
The ALMS Trio - Allen Livermore, saxophone; Michael Szekely, drums; and Daniel Shuman, double bass
 will perform original jazz compositions and jazz standards in their dynamic and eclectic style.The ALMS Trio has performed as part of the Texaco Jazz Festival and at NYC's famed club, The Knitting Factory. Their CDs have received airplay from New York to San Francisco.
JAZZ WORKSHOP
1:00pm - $8 (includes concert)
The trio will host a workshop on jazz improvisation that is open to all.

BLUES JAM

Monthly drop-in blues jam for professional and amateur musicians.
Second Wednesday each month - listeners always welcome.
 

Friday, October 12
FOLK JAM
8:00PM – Free
Monthly drop-in folk jam for professional and amateur musicians.
Second Friday each month. Listeners always welcome.

 

Wednesday, October 17
SHAPE- NOTE SING
7:00-9:30PM - Free
Monthly community sings focused on the American tradition of shape-note singing, a joyful, spirited, and democratic singing tradition. No auditions or performances, just singing for the pure joy of it. Listeners, beginners, and people of all ages are welcome. Meets third Wednesday of each month.

Friday, October 26
FAMILY DRUM CIRCLE
6:00PM - Free
The drop-in Drum Circle meets the forth Friday of each month and is free of charge. No experience necessary. Participants of all ages are encouraged to bring  percussion instruments, including hand drums, bells, shakers, and homemade instruments; some drums will be provided. Facilitated by Steve Collins.
